Left Shark Vendor will Fight Back
Fernando Sosa, the man who made the Left Shark sculptures who received a cease-and-desist letter last week from Katy’s lawyers, says now he’s going to fight back
On Monday he said that he had retained a lawyer and was going to fight Team Perry.
Sosa wrote on his blog, “Usually when it comes to small business owners, when the lawyers come after you the outcome is usually pretty predictable. Lawyer sends you a threatening letter and in fear of legal action you do whatever the lawyer tells you to do.”
“I decided to finally take a stand and break the usual cycle of rolling over or giving into legal threats.”
His lawyer claims, that costumes cannot be copyrighted and that the NFL had more control over the halftime show than Perry claims she did.
Sosa’s lawyer, Chris Sprigman said, “Going ahead with these very dubious copyright claims will not benefit Katy Perry,” he wrote in a letter to Perry’s lawyers.
For now Sosa will keep selling the shark figures for the time being.
Katy Perry performs at the Grammy’s
Although Katy didn’t win a Grammy, she didn’t show her disappointment as she sang By the Grace of God to the crowd of her peers.
Katy and Miley Cyrus were seen together as they fondled each other breast, no doubt Miley start that exchange. Later Katy walked past Taylor Swift as the two stars ignored each other.
Katy Perry Gets Ready For the Grammy’s
Source say Katy’s been busy rehearsing for her Grammy performance on Sunday night, where she is expected to sing By the Grace of God of her Prism album.

Katy Perry launches Shark Attack
Katy wasted not time sicking her lawyers on 31 year old Fernando Sosa who made a 3 inch ‘Left Shark’ based on the shark in Katy’s halftime show from a 3-D printer.
The problem Katy had with him stems from the fact he started selling them online through shapeways.com. Shapeways officials informed Sosa on Wednesday of a cease-and-desist letter they received from Perry’s Los Angeles-based lawyers who demanded the shark’s removal.
Sosa said, “They said they were pulling the design because they didn’t want to deal with lawyers.”
The plastic shark was on sale for $24.99 and he made no claim that it was in anyway associated with Perry, after making other figurines of presidents and TV characters with no problems he’s decided to talk to a lawyer and see if Perry has a case.

Katy poses with ex bf after big game

John, 36, and Katy, 30, broke up about a year ago and were seen together last month for the first time as it looked like they maybe getting back together.
This latest photo suggests that they are definitely back together as they attended a Super Bowl after party with Missy Elliot.

And as a reminder of the event, Katy got a tattoo, the Roman numerals ‘XLIX’ inked on her finger to mark 49th Super Bowl.
Katy Perry DELIVERS at Super Bowl Show
After months of planning Katy delivers a fantastic show that will be hard to surpass for many years to come.
She made her entrance on a giant gold tiger which ‘walked’ across the field as Katy stood atop the beast singing ‘Roar‘.
This was followed up be a breathing chessboard for the song ‘Dark Horse’ as acrobatic performers flipped and danced all around her.
Welcoming Lenny Kravitz to the stage, as flames exploded behind them, the pair sang ‘I kissed a Girl’.
Then the stage shrank into a beach scene complete with beach balls and palm trees as Katy performed ‘Teenage Dream’.
‘California Gurls’ was next as Missy Elliot came on the stage and she sang ‘Get Ur Freak On’ and ‘Work It’ while Katy disappeared and returned in a different gown as she sang the finale song. ‘Firework’.
Here is the set list:
‘I Kissed a Girl’ (with Lenny Kravitz)
Missy Elliott medley: ‘Get Ur Freak On,’ ‘Work It,’ ‘Lose Control’
